You’ve honed your pickup artist skills to a point where just about every woman is eating out of the palm of your hand by the time you’ve ordered her first drink. You rarely leave a coffee shop or Happy Hour without the cutest girl’s phone number. Why would you want to browse a PUA forum? You’re completely confident in your game and don’t see the point of learning new tactics when the old ones are working just fine.

When it comes to picking up women, you can never have too many tricks in your bag. Maybe you’ve had tons of luck as of late, but if you change your taste in women, late-night hangout spot or geographical location, you could start coming up short again. Sure, you could re-read the books you’ve already highlighted and dog eared, but you could also educate yourself on what the newest up-and-coming pickup artists are doing. One entire forum covers PUA openers only, and odds are that there are a few you haven’t tried before. Find openers for picking up girls everywhere from the food court at college to your office. My favorite opener forum is the one that tells guys how to approach a girl who’s walking in the opposite direction. It may be the one and only time that you can use the, “Come here often?” line without sounding corny.

The best thing about online PUA forums is that every detail of the game is covered. In the forum with advice on how to text a girl, you can find out how to respond to certain things she texts, what to say when she asks if you’re texting any other girls at the moment and how to recover from drunk texting. You can even learn how to handle a girl who ends every single sentence with an emoticon. Most of the time, unless you’re looking for a serious relationship with the girl, you can get out of awkward text situations by either ignoring it or making a joke. When she asks if you’re texting any other girls, reply with, “Coffee tomorrow?” and then another text that says, “Sorry, meant to send that to someone else.” If she doesn’t catch on quickly enough, explain that it was a joke and brush past actually having to answer the question. If you embarrassed yourself by sending a slew of drunk texts, and if you can get in touch with her the next day, simply ignore the mishap unless she brings it up.
